September 13 – Central Arizona College, Signal Peak Campus
Screenwriting: Plot – Without a screenplay, there’s no film. Learn formatting to look like a pro and focus on developing a great plot. Come with ideas and be prepared to write. 9 am – noon
To Make a Great Film – Know Your Camera –Learn to make the best use of your camera. Bring your camera. Hands on! 1 – 4 pm
September 14 – Central Arizona College, Maricopa Campus
Screenwriting: Characters – Basics with a heavy emphasis on developing memorable characters. Hands on practice included. Don’t miss this workshop that takes you to the next level. 9 am-noon
Stay Legal! – Don’t miss legal advice every filmmaker should know. Finding film funding sources included. 1 – 4 pm
September 19 – Central Arizona College, San Tan Campus
Screenwriting: Dialogue – Learn how to make your screenplay irresistible. Focus on dialogue. Hands on practice. 9 am – noon
Lights, Action, Sound! – Lighting the scene and hearing the characters – without this, your film is never going to be shown. Includes tips and tricks for low budget filming. Smartphone, iPad, camera included. 1 – 4 pm
