An African student needed to flee Ukraine. Help came from Atlanta.

Many African students who were in Ukraine reported experiencing outward racism and discrimination when trying to flee. As a response, a group of volunteers created Black Foreigners in Ukraine, a global digital network helping Black people caught up in the war.
