A Hezbollah drone attack overnight at a military base in northern Israel killed at least four people and injured 61 more.

It isn’t the first deployment of a THAAD system in Israel. Last year, Biden ordered its military placement in the Middle East after the Oct. 7 attacks.

U.S. officials told NBC News that Israel has narrowed its potential targets on Iran to military and energy infrastructure, with an attack that could come as soon as this weekend.

The strike could happen at any time, U.S. and Israeli officials told NBC News, and could come during this weekend's Yom Kippur holiday. 

The Lebanese capital, Beirut, was reeling from Israeli strikes in the city center that killed at least 22 people and injured 117 others, according to the Health Ministry.
