Safety Information

  • It is crucial for pilots to thoroughly read and understand the AirVenture NOTAM to ensure safe operations on arrival and departure for the yearly event. Flight procedure details can be found here.
  • COPA urges all pilots to log appropriate cross-country time prior to their trip to Oshkosh so they have the proficiency and confidence to fly safely in conjunction with a thorough knowledge with the yearly AirVenture NOTAM.
  • COPA will provide a flying to the US checklist and other helpful information to pilots flying into Oshkosh. We will share this closer to the event, and strongly suggest pilots supplement this information with their own research and understanding that the information is subject to change.
